If you like to shop online you can go to the Kemper doll supplies sight. I have bought and used 2 Kemper wigs and find them to be very nice.

Does any one know where I could get a new doll wig? I've tried looking at all of the craft stores near me but noting that would work! This is for a 18" doll so it will need a 11/12 wig, what ever that means. I've never done this before and I know some people on this boar do some doll restoring so you would know right? what do you usually pay for a new wig? Is there a certain material to watch or look out for in a wig?
Thanks!, MissCurlyCat

Did you try google or yahoo searches for doll wigs? I know two of the companies are Kemper and Monique.
Thanks for the great addvice!
If I were to make over a doll to look like Felicity would this work? I would have to trim it a bit of course!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No, you shouldn't use a wig that's already styled. Especially not in braids. There's no way to know if they would come out, and if they looked "normal" when they were taken out. Thanks for the great addvice!

Try looking through the
Kemper site, they have a lot of wigs. If that doesn't work, try Monique
I've bought eight or ten from Audrey's Dolls and have been very satisfied with both the quality of the product and the service. She has a large assortment from several wig manufacturers. I've even bought one human hair wig for a doll from her.
